Hi. I’m Kris Humphrey.

I grew up in a medium-sized city in the far south-west of England with the sea on one side and the wilds of Dartmoor on the other. I’ve moved around a fair bit since then and I’ve done my share of interesting jobs (cinema projectionist, blood factory technician, bookseller…). I also like to travel. But I’ve always been writing – or at least thinking about writing – or at least pretending to be thinking about writing.

I’m the author of two series' of books for young people: Leo's Map of Monsters and Guardians of the Wild.

I now live in London.
